Joshua Johnson is the Minister of Music at Rise Community Church. From 2014 to 2020, he served as Saxophonist in the Music Ministry at Grace Covenant Church in Chantilly, VA. He received his bachelor’s in Music from Duke University and taught music from 2005–2010.
He works with musicians to encourage and help them develop their relationship between music and worship. Joshua has been married to his wife, Esther, for 11 years, and together they have two children.
