Our Story
Demonstrated by living our core values: compassion, growth, courage to act, responsibility, belonging, curiosity. You can see them cultivated in every experience for students, families and staff.
Community is everything. It’s who we are and how things get done. Everyone here is motivated by a deep commitment to making sure each child and family feels welcome and included. When everyone feels like they belong, we are stronger and smarter together. We’re a community driven to make the world a better place—starting in our own backyard.
Salvation Through Christ
Pastor Shawn explains how to accept Jesus into your life.

God’s Plan for Us
At some point, we all ask the question, “How did I get here?” Whether life feels unfulfilled or we feel distant from God, there is a shared desire for purpose and connection. When God created the universe, He also created mankind with intention and purpose. Each of us was created with a plan in mind.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
God’s desire is to have a close relationship with us. His plans are good and lead to life, growth, and purpose. However, because of sin, humanity became separated from God. God is holy and perfect, and sin creates a barrier between us and Him.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
The consequence of sin is spiritual death, but God did not leave us without hope.
Jesus Christ
Because God is holy and just, sin could not go unpunished. Yet because God loves us deeply, He made a way to restore our relationship with Him. That way was through Jesus Christ.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord.”
Romans 6:23
Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth, lived a sinless life, and willingly took the punishment for our sins by dying on the cross. Though He did not deserve death, He took our place so that we could be forgiven.
“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become
the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21
Christ’s Sacrifice and Salvation
Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, the separation between God and humanity was bridged. Jesus rose from the grave on the third day, defeating sin and death. Because of His sacrifice, forgiveness is available, and eternal life with God is possible.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in
Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
How Do I Receive Salvation?
Salvation is received by placing your faith in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Lord and
Savior. This means turning away from sin and choosing to follow Him.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that
God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9
Receiving Jesus is not complicated. It begins with a sincere decision of the heart. If you are ready, you can pray the prayer below.
Prayer of Salvation
“Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. I am sorry for my
sin and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I turn away from sin and receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I choose to follow You for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you just prayed this prayer, congratulations. This is the beginning of a new life in Christ. You
