What is Marriage Ministry?
The Marriage Ministry at Rise Community Church is focused on reconciling, rebuilding and restoring covenant marriages here in Horry County and the surrounding area. Our mission is for married couples, engaged couples and those desiring to enter into covenant marriage to have a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered and socially responsible relationship that brings glory to God and best reflects his relationship with the church. The goal of this ministry is to empower and impact marriages in the community by being united with God and his word, bringing greater unity in their relationship. Our desire is for couples to learn how to develop a biblically based marriage that exercises unconditional love, forgiveness, and wisdom from God’s word, in a way that is uplifting, encouraging and life changing.

Marriage Ministry Valentine’s Event

The Marriage Ministry will be hosting our annual Valentine’s Event on Saturday, February 10th at 5:00pm. This event is open to Married, Engaged and seriously dating couples so bring your spouse/significant other and join us for an evening of entertainment, dinner, games and prizes. Marriage Ministry Bible Study
Date: First Monday of the Month starting January 8, 2024
Time: 7:00-8:00pm
The Marriage Ministry will be hosting our spring bible study beginning October 9th. Our study will be on the book “A Couples Guide to a Growing Marriage: A Bible Study” by Gary Chapman.
