Danell served as an associate Pastor at Grace Covenant Church for 17 years and has been a member for over 20 years. She has a passion to spread the gospel through the arts, minister to women and minister in prayer. She is gifted in the prophetic ministry, and served on the prophetic team at Grace Covenant Church. Danell has ministered to women in various venues from Women’s Conferences to Adult Detention Centers and is trained in Christian counseling. She has helped women and couples overcome issues and circumstances in order to walk in victory. She served on the Women’s Leadership Team and was the Director of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry at Grace Covenant Church. She is married to Shawn and they have three adult children. Shawn attended Grace Covenant Church (Chantilly, VA) with his family for more than 20 years. He was discipled at Grace Covenant church and was ordained as a church Elder in 2008. Shawn retired from a career in law enforcement in 2013 and joined the staff at Grace Covenant Church later that year. He was ultimately ordained as an Associate Pastor and faithfully served the congregation of over 5,000 people. Part of the mission of Grace Covenant Church (GCC) is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through church planting. In 2017 Shawn and Danell, his wife of over 32 years, were inspired by God to plant Rise Community Church in Horry County, SC. As an Associate Pastor, Shawn ministered in areas related Membership Assimilation, Marriage Ministry and Benevolence Ministry. Additionally, Shawn was responsible for overseeing service ministries such as the Usher Team, the Security Team and the Pastoral Assistants. Additionally, he served as a volunteer Police Chaplain with the Fairfax County Police Department. Shawn is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania (B.S.) and a graduate of Family Bible College in Baltimore, Maryland (A.A.).
